Bbradley62
I really hate this 2♥ bid.[hv=lin=pn|bbradley62,~~M12317,~~M12315,~~M12316|st%7C%7Cmd%7C2S347JH269JKDJKAC4%2CS9AH58QD3479TC5KA%2CS58TQHTD256QC67TQ%2C%7Crh%7C%7Cah%7CBoard%204%7Csv%7Cb%7Cmb%7C1D%7Can%7CMinor%20suit%20opening%20--%203%2B%20D%3B%2011-21%20HCP%3B%2012-22%20total%20points%20%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7C1H%7Can%7COne%20over%20one%20--%204%2B%20H%3B%206%2B%20total%20points%20%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7C1N%7Can%7C2-5%20C%3B%204-5%20D%3B%202-3%20H%3B%202-3%20S%3B%2012-14%20HCP%20%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7C2H%7Can%7CRetreat%20from%20notrump%20--%205%2B%20H%3B%206-11%20total%20points%20%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cmb%7Cp%7Cpc]360|270[/hv]
georgi
It's certain bug. It's fixed, but it will be present in next release. The bug refers to all auctions like:1♣ - 1♥1NT - 2♥ 1♣ - 1♦1NT - 2♦ 1♥ - 1♠1NT - 2♠etc. in general the "retreat from notrump" cases

georgi
it's not auto-retreat situation, but in cases the hand is treated as not good for pass on 1NT, it will be definitely not 4th in the suit GIB retreats. The expected layout seems like 5+ and of course unbalanced.
xxhong
5+ may not be good enough, because gib itself frequently rebids 1NT with singletons in responder's suit. So a better treatment should be 6+ or at least good 5+. Also, gib should be set to pass NT frequently with a singleton or void in opener's suit. it's not auto-retreat situation, but in cases the hand is treated as not good for pass on 1NT, it will be definitely not 4th in the suit GIB retreats. barmar
GIB tends to run from NT when it has a singleton. It even does this when it's in partner's known 5-card suit.
