Toradin
Again we are playing Matchpoints, 2/1: 1. [hv=pc=n&s=s42h8dakq843cakq6&d=w&v=n&b=12&a=2sp3s]133|200[/hv] What would you bid here? 2. NV/NV, North deals. [hv=pc=n&w=sqj865ha762dk742c&e=sa4hdq865cakqj976]266|100[/hv] With no opposition bidding, is there any way of getting to the optimal contract of 3NT? Thanks for your input! Fluffy
1: 5♦, seems like 10-12 tricks avaible, so 11 its a good bet, too strong for 4♦ IMO. 2: I don't see any reasonable way to get to 3NT, but anyway, 3NT doesn't seem any better than 5m, in fact 5m might be superior on many lie outs.
