Ick. The re-opening double shows biddable spades? Re-opening 3♣ instead is explained as "4+C; 4+H; 11+ total points". Re-opening 3♥ instead is explained as "6+H; 11-12 total points". Non-forcing. What was South supposed to do in balancing seat? It's my understanding that support doubles only apply when opp's overcall is below 2 of partner's suit, so this bid wasn't available to North over 2♠. A lot of rubbish hand description though I would think GIB doesn't have that actually hand description input thankfully. I would think its best to either bid 3♥ over the 3♣ as your hand isn't that suitable for doubling clubs and North hopefully has spades or pass and hope North GIB gives the reasonable double.
