Describe it if you think the answer depends on vul, MP/IMP, strength of opp, etc. Also describe(if exist) a similiar hand that you'll make different decision.(e.g. if this card becomes that card I'll bid this instead of that.) mikestar13 Posted September 4, 2011 Report Share Posted September 4, 2011 Obvious 2♥ to me, same regardless of vul or scoring, though it would be somewhat less comfortable red vs white.Assuming that the bidding style is such that partner would pass a balanced 10 count in second seat, I can visualize 3NT if partner has clubs stopped, or 4♥ if he has support and that sort of hand. If he is a bit weaker our defense in spades may allows a profitable double of 3♠.
