awm
When there is a poll where people are allowed to select multiple choices, the poll only tracks the total votes for each option and the percentage of total votes for each option. However, in many cases it would be more interesting to know the percentage of total voters who selected each option. For example, I recently posted a poll about alerting various meanings for a negative double. What I'd really like to know is what percentage of people think a particular meaning should be alerted. So there is a big difference between 40 people responding and 20 think A should be alerted vs. 20 think B should be alerted (suggesting it is perhaps a regional preference)... vs. 20 people responding all of whom think both A and B should be alerted (which is a much stronger signal). Yet in both cases there are 40 positive votes and each option will read as having 50% of the vote. Is it possible for BBF to display this or at least give the option of displaying this? Foxx
At the top of the thread, it tells you how many people have voted in the poll. You can divide this into the number of people who voted for a given option, to get the percentage of voters for the option.
