The rules of submission are: 1) The hands must be played on BridgeBase Online, and the hand stored the myhands site. 2) You can submit a hand you play, defend, kibitz or just hear about. Anyone can nominate hands. 3) The date range the hand is played is the date on the myhands site. 4) You must post a LINK to the hand in the myhands database for the hand to be eligible (how to instructions at the end). 5) Try to say something about why the hand you are submitting is among the best hands played on BBO. 6) When the submission date is over, a poll will be started for voting on the hand of the week. All members are allowed to vote. 7) Should intrest in this topic fail to develop with people participating by submitting hands, the threads om here will be moved to the "interesting hands" forum and this discusion group will be deleted. ---------------------------How to cut and paste a link to the myhand site. Step one.. go to myhands webpage (click here)...http://bridgebase.lunarpages.com/cgi-bin/history.pl Step two.. enter the name of the person who made the play in the name box, and a number of days big enough to go back the the day when the hand was played. Step three.. right click on the movie button of the hand you are interested in submitting and choose "copy shortcut" Step four.. come to the thread for the week you are submiiting the hand for, and click "Add" to respond to the thread. Step five.. click the http:// code button above, and place your mouse in the box that is opened. Delete the http:// that is there and then press the control key and the V key at the same time.
