The explanation is correct. Just North simulated to bid 3 instead of pass ( which are both considered before to pick one ).

The pass seems correct, but in this case the percentages draw 3H probably.

It appears to me that 15 out of 15 Norths who faced this same decision chose to bid 3. If GIB would "always" bid 3 in this auction, the description should say "5+H", not "6+H".

Note that you are expected to make a support redouble with 3 hearts, which is why the explanation of North's 3 bid specifies 6+H. But I agree with your bottom line that GIB's bids should match their explanations.

If you give a support redouble, GIB bids spades which is incidentally explained as including 4+H.

The 3 without support redouble is certainly bid needing 6cards in the hearts. The problem here seems to be the simulation result pretending GIB having more then it has. 1 heart and 1 tp off. GIB is not supposed always to bid 3 here, even it would rarely pick that bid, especially without support.

You mean that if you rebid redouble, North will/might/should bid 3?

It means he bothered to look at the auctions held at the other tables, instead of making up an answer, and he observed that whenever South redoubles, West bids 2 and North bids 2 (not 3) to show invitational values.
