mck4711
5-card-major-systemyou have the following bidding: 1♣ - p - 1♠ - 1NT2♣ - 2♥ - p - pX how do you understand this X, regardless of any hand shown?
Hanoi5
3 spades, 6+ clubs, do something partner. I suppose 1NT was sandwich, but even if it wasn't.
barmar
If you play support doubles, and 1NT was sandwich (showing the other 2 suits), I think he could have X'ed on the previous round to show 3 spades. But I agree that it's DSIP, since no other meaning seems to be logical.
frank0
Penalty double, both you and your partner's hand are limited.
Free
Takeout, probably some 3=1=4=5 or 3=0=4=6.
wyman
Takeout, probably some 3=1=4=5 or 3=0=4=6. This, but I can see a 3=1=3=6 in there as well. If he chooses 3D, I'm expecting 5+.

ArtK78
Takeout, probably some 3=1=4=5 or 3=0=4=6.I don't know that 3-1-4-5 would be within the possibility, as I would raise spades on that distribution. I suppose there could be an extreme case with xxx of spades and AKQTx of clubs where you might rebid 2♣, but normally I would raise spades. Also, we have both limited our hands, so its not like we need maximum flexibility to investigate all strains. If I held a 3-1-3-6, do I really want partner passing with four hearts? Why couldn't I just bid 2♠ with this?
