manudude03
Win it in hand and draw trumps, minor issue if trumps are 4-0, but looks pretty cold.

manudude03
TO Maneudeo3-i THINK u have overlooked something? ummm no? I have 2 diamonds thanks to the lead, 3 clubs, 4 trumps, 2 spades and my 12th trick will be a diamond ruff. The only thing I may have "overlooked" is that the doubler likely has a black suit void (6-6 and bids 3D, wow....), I don't see a lot I can do about that if their partner has the ace of trumps though. pirate22
Join the club :):) at least i considered ruffing with 10 hts trick 1 so did as you--- saw fit, discarded and lo, and behold. it was ruffed,a switch came, and now that was ruffed cor blimey plyd ht--- ace one and suffered another ruff."Snuff said" now let me have your views on the second hand. manudude03
I must admit, I'd never bid 3D with KJT9xxxxx in diamonds...... meanwhile, ruffing the first diamond high means you're down if trumps are 4-0 (unless it's 4 with south and you specifically play for that)

So right-hand opponents has a diamond void and the ace of hearts, and left-hand opponent has a black suit void?It doesn't matter what card I play at trick 1, I can't make the contract. Also, if I'm going to play for LHO to 9 diamonds, maybe I should worry about him having 8 diamonds and the ace of hearts: ruff at trick 1 with the 10 of hearts, play a heart to the king and ace, and another diamond is over-ruffed by RHO.
