[hv=pc=n&n=st84hakqj53dtca65]133|100[/hv]

Pairs....north Dealer VULN...opps Non Vuln.

North opens 1ht--5 Diamonds --pass--pass

so it comes back to you,your partner plays

negative x's {min 8 points}

What action do you take if any.........

when a few answers come in -I will return

with an update... to arrive at another problem.

Interesting explanation for the 5-level.

Pass, even without that information.

Ok--because we play neg x's partner could have

Diamond values-or outside valus sortof....

so to find out -- you double,all passed out.

Partner leads 7 hts-- dummy shown,now defend.[hv=pc=n&w=sq9763ht86d87ckq2&n=st84hakqj53dtca65]266|200[/hv]

what heart do you play,presume you will play another ht {which one}

are you trying to create an illusion declarer follows to second heart.

now what is your 3rd lead and why.

"you double,all passed out."

Sorry Pirate, but questions where you don't listen to the answers are stupid questions. Most have already said they don't double! To what level do you play negative doubles? 7S?

What are your lead agreements in a suit partner has bid? Whatever, unless declarer is an idiot I doubt a second heart will stand up.

well mr Hog my apologies,i have upset you,not the intention,it is a two fold enquiry

have absorbed the answers given some pass some double,majority pass

so onto what i have posted you now x for reasons stated,

and partner passes-now interestingly you have to defend,

nothing strange re the 7 hts lead,partner not likely to have 4 cards,and is either a x

or a xx...{hearts}

when second ht stands up what does north play 3rd card...

I exclude Mr Hog from answering :){bad day at the office} perhaps:)

Mr Hogs apology fully accepted... come on plse

what does one play after the second ht stands up.

this will elicit the second answer from me...

The level of neg x's does not come into the equation.

you have x for the reason stated.pard either has diam

value or some other value---

if he has a bust i would expect him to bid something,

or raise my bid suit..
