1eyedjack
West's 4S is normalHaving chosen 5H (not my choice) the 6D follow-up by North is I think reasonable.South's decision to move over 6S is right I think, although it may be moot whether 7H is the best choice. He is unlucky that they went on to 7S.North's final pass of 7S worked out very well. The way you phrased the question, I assume that you are not looking for comments on those who did not have their bids.
mgoetze
West's bidding was perfectly normal. North has a clear 4NT bid over 4♠, anything else is silly. East's 6♠ is pushy, but OK. 7♠ however is absolutely ridiculous. As for South, well I wouldn't have bid 7♥, but (s)he was between a rock and a hard place here. So, I send North and East to the asylum.
P_Marlowe
#1 Wests bidding was ok.#2 North bidding I can partially understand, if he does not want to try out 4NT,because he never heard about it before - when he bids 5H he plans to bid 6D in the next round, and hence showes the abillity to look ahead.#3 South bidding I understand as well, he sees a double fit. The only one, I dont want to partner, is East. As West I would feel insulted, the 7S bid told me - "Partner you are stupid." With kind regardsMarlowe

That being said, East is laughing all the way to the bank (I am assuming he or she made 7S, is that the case jillybean?)

semeai
As West I would feel insulted, the 7S bid told me - "Partner you are stupid." How is West ever to know when it's right to bid 7S, from East's perspective? Also, I wonder if East took the double as perhaps indicating the ♥A, in which case 7S seems not too unlikely. (More likely from East's perspective is that it would indicate a club void, though, I would think.) Nobody bid crazily, I think. North might have done better to have bid 4NT, but only if North both knew such a bid existed and knew South did too.
vuroth
7♠ worked, but even if X is the ace of hearts, it still needs a lot to come home. but yeah, no problem with how west and north bid. I appreciate that south can see a double fit, but 7 with only 1 HCP in the double fit seems pretty ambitious.
