kenrexford
Hand #1: [hv=pc=n&s=skj75hqt9dkq32cj2&n=sq4hk6432dajt854c&d=s&v=0&b=11&a=1cp1dp1nppp]266|200[/hv] Club lead. Down two. Hand #2: [hv=pc=n&s=saqj532h82dajca32&n=s4hk9543dq2ckq984&d=s&v=0&b=11&a=1np2hp4sp4np5cp5hp6sp6n]266|200[/hv] This one had play for a moment. Diamond lead to Queen (winning), spade to Queen and King. Diamond back to Ace. Spade Ace, LHO showing out. Rather unlucky. Hand #3: [hv=pc=n&s=saqjt9hd532cat865&n=sk32hkq8653da8c72&d=n&v=0&b=1&a=1hp1sp2hp4sppp]266|200[/hv] Flannery was in play, so 1♠ showed 5+, in case that explanation helps to understand the sequence better. After a club lead, Declarer won and played back a club, won by LHO. LHO tried to cash the heart Ace, ruffed by Declarer, A club ruff (splitting 3-3) was following by pulling trumps and claiming for two overtricks. kenrexford
This doesn't belong in adv/exp. :P Both partners in these three auctions were high flight players. so, maybe it is too advanced or too expert for the casual observer to follow? MrAce
Both partners in these three auctions were high flight players. so, maybe it is too advanced or too expert for the casual observer to follow? No, i think its more of a proof of how the masterpoint system is screwed up which allows these guys to play in high flights.
Phil
Both partners in these three auctions were high flight players. so, maybe it is too advanced or too expert for the casual observer to follow? Sort of like, "If you have to ask about the auction, you wouldn't understand"? I question the competency of the players involved here, based on the examples given.
