Can I open one in the Flash version somehow or is there another utility (first or third party) to use? If the best solution is to convert the file to another type, is there a recommendation there? Related: I tried going to a teaching table to load the file, but could only use "saved deals" (which it seems had to come from myhands originally) instead of loading from a file. Depending upon what you want to do, there are plenty of alternatives. Two that I use routinely are bridge composer and bridge captain's double dummy solver. The links for these programs are: Bridge Composer (shareware, try for free, minimum cost to register) this will allow nice text output on screen and printer (and web pages)Bridge Captain double dummy solver - free (useful for "replay of hands) Can I open one in the Flash version somehow or is there another utility (first or third party) to use? Stick this in front of the lin file something like http://www.bridgebase.com/tools/handviewer.html?lin= this may also involve changing all blanks to %20, not sure about that because I haven't tried this. Fantastic! This works, though it balked when I tried a 16 deal segment with error 414 (URI too long). I fed it just the header and first two hands and it worked beautifully, with the results table and ability to navigate to the other table and everything! I didn't need to put in %20's. This makes sense. Copy & pasting the text of the .lin (as in the success noted in the previous post) would be able work if it's implemented, though.
