Mozzarella.

 

Meh...

 

I'm spending the week vacationing in Bloomington IN

(Visiting old friends, taking a class on limestone carving, and reliving my mis-spent youth)

 

Had lunch yesterday at the Crazy Horse

 

The formerly delicious chilli cheese fries had been replaced with something far less satisfying, bearing the same name.

One of the worst features... The mozzarella cheese.

 

Who the $^@*#! puts mozzarella on chilli cheese fries???

I couldn't agree more. That's almost as bad as using mozzarella on poutine instead on real cheese curds. There's nothing quite like a good quality French Canadian poutine.

I'm also very fond of using a good provolone. My wife's homemade burgers with provolone, grilled onions and HP sauce - unbelievable!!!

 

sharp provolone isn't used nearly as much as it should be imo.

 

roast pork, sharp prov, hot peppers, fresh baked sub roll. life is good.
