menggq
2S most likes strong hand GF and ♥ fit or something else, but one thing is confirmed that 2♠ should GF.
Chris2794
Maybe it's a GF Hand with 6+ ♣ (as 3♣ is invitational) but I also could imagine a GF ♥ raise or a strong NT wihout values in ♠

So basically, 2S denies a 3 card support. It also denies the willingness to play 1SX.So probably long ♣ without ♠ stopper, but could be a strong (slam ambitions) GF hand with ♥.
Foxx
I'd think it shows a strong hand which now lacks clear direction, e.g. ♠xxxx ♥AQ ♦KQx ♣AQJx. And yes, if playing support doubles, it will usually deny as many as three hearts.

If I keep silent on this round, my partner will not understand my further bidding, on his possible double or other bid.
