mgoetze
No, partner will find a bid on most hands which are good enough to make 5♥ opposite, I think.
Phil
NO, but I'm bidding 6♥ over a reopening x.

No, I believe my Master said "no pre-empt over a pre-prempt". Will try to find that back in the litterature. Or has anybody something on that ?

Cyberyeti
I'm thinking no, but had one of my most spectacular ever successes by bidding 5♥ over 4♠ with void, AQJxxxxx, 10x, xxx so I don't think it's a million miles away.
whereagles
No. Not because it won't be a good score but because pard will go berzerk with some cards.

P_Marlowe
Hi, The answer is certainly No, ... but I do have a 8 card suit. The 5H bid may be faster on the table than "PASS". With kind regardsMarlowe
Free
This is a clear pass imo.

JLOGIC
We are red/white with 6 losers. To hope that partner has 3 covers, and a hand that can't set 4S, and a hand that won't bid 6H, and a hand that won't reopen over 4S is really asking a lot. mike gill
I was recently dealt - xx xx KJTxxxxxx at unfavorable 3rd seat over a 4♠ opening. Compared to that, this has the threat of partner raising to 6 when he shouldn't, plus the chance that he'll reopen, so this is an obvious pass for me considering that I passed with a 9-card suit and a void too. eagles123
I'd pass this hand for sure, 5H is way too risky!!

benlessard
No, note that after a X you have the 4Nt-5m-5H way and direct 5H. The direct 5H should show that 6 is still in the picture and the delayed is weaker.
