Onedown
I have used the hand editor many times and it is great for generating hands I want to describe. But I am working on a new project involving team play between clubs and country and conducted live at a club using multiple teams and needing laptop computers for each player of those teams to log into BBO. Their is really no constraint against this but I do not see where I could generate multiple random boards, where I had nothing to do with the input except say "random". Then have all these boards, lets say 28 or 32 saved to 1 file. Then when the time to create the multiple team matches, each host of the individual team vs team would have been sent this file and he then uploads it to the table. This would enable 3-4 or more teams competing from each club/country they are all playing the same boards?

It will shuffle random hands that you can save and use later.

Hanoi5
I was trying to upload hands for a team match on Friday. I had two problems: 1. I tried uploading the hands after all the team members had accepted the invitation (and therefore were in their position with cards dealt by the program). I always received an error so I couldn't do it.2. I thought the problem was with the file: I had created it with Dealmaster Pro. So I just entered each hand with the BBO movie program specifying that the hands would be used by two teams (the file is different as it has each hand twice). Then I asked for Diana's help and we set up the match, but there was a catch: one member has to wait before accepting while the match creator uploads the hands. So in the end I didn't know whether the file has to be special (created with BBO program) or if it can be created with any dealer OR if you only need any LIN file and a 'late' mamaber of the team match so that the hands can be uploaded. There's another thing: if you create a LIN file with the hands and send it to each match creator that person has to use the BBO program, not the browser version, to create the match and upload the hands. You can use any .lin file. It doesnt matter what program u used to generate the .lin file. The catch is to upload hands before all members accept the invitation. You should ask someone to delay accepting the invitation, until you manage to upload the hands.
diana_eva
I did as you said on the web version but I do not see a save option? In the My Results panel, at the bottom, click on Options > Export deal > Save as... But it wont help to use the web version for this project. At the moment it is not possible to send bridge movies and save them, from one member to another on the web version. You can send hands, but the person who receives them has no option to save them. You will need to use the windows version until we improve the send/receive movies process on the web version, sorry.
