Auction starting with RHO:

1D 1H P 1S

2C X 2D 2H

P 3H AP

You probably should have just bid 2S on your third round but you fell in love with your good hearts.

A diamond is led, low 9 J. You went from thinking you made a great stop to a bad one, but now you play the HA and RHO pitches a diamond. How do you proceed/what is your general plan?

Cheat sheet provided within, for those who are stumped:

[hv=pc=n&s=st82hakjt2dj2cakj&w=s65hq9876dq876c97&n=skqj43h543dk3c432&e=sa97hdat954cqt865&d=e&v=0&b=14&a=1d1hp1s2cd2d2hp3hppp]399|300[/hv]

This should be the layout, give or take a card and a few spots. This is probably the distribution though; if RHO was 6-5, even with minimal points, he/she may have bid differently (by opening clubs or by taking another diamond call). RHO having 4054 seems like an outside chance, but not impossible.

Keep in mind that you have certain diamond and spade losers, so you need to avoid losing 3 hearts (whether it be via trump tricks or black suit ruffs)

Spoiler within a spoiler?!

You can't afford getting forced to ruff in hand by the opponents playing a diamond when dummy is out of trumps
