Is this for real? Just duck K and you're in. If they continue you ruff in dummy and keep control in that suit. If they take your trump away, you get control of trumps, or you're on trick which keeps control over s since you still have the Ace...

I show it spelled 4 different ways in different countries.

Principle that often the simplest or most direct solution to a problem is the best. In science many competing theories on any problem, often the simplest, least complicated is the correct, or at least one may say most nearly correct solution.

Another way of putting is "one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed."

This is named after William of Occam.

William of Ockham, born in the village of Ockham in Surrey (England) about 1285, was the most influential philosopher of the 14th century and a controversial theologian. The medieval rule of parsimony, or principle of economy, frequently used by Ockham came to be known as Occam's razor. The rule, which said that plurality should not be assumed without necessity was used to eliminate many pseudo-explanatory entities.

It is believed that he died in a convent in Munich in 1349, a victim of the Black Death. His name, spelled Occam, lives on in the names of streets in Munich ... and in the world of high-performance safety-critical parallel computing.
