symmetric relay partner wanted!

Recommended Posts

Hi!

Intermediate player looking for a partner for online play on BBO, playing a symmetric relay system as follows:

Symmetric Relay and lavinthal/Reverse Att/Std Count

Usually plays std acol/SAYC with regular p (who dosent BBO);

looking for someone with a sense of fun :)

& good appetite for risk and experimentation :(

Local Singaporean would be much preferred but not neccesary.

More information:

Time Zone GMT +8.00, free from 10 pm to 12 pm (local time) on weekdays and whole day on weekends (sleeps in rather late-ish)

Would suggest spending some time bidding practice hands first before jumping into main club.

Hey, I'm a current Junior (23 y.o.) in the United States (GMT-5), and I'm interested in trying to play Symmetric Relay with you. Unfortunately, I have very little knowledge of relay systems, so I'll read up on the document but might still need some help in the early going. Weekdays aren't good for me, as I usually don't wake up until 12 AM your time. Weekends are much more manageable. Thanks for your time.

  • 4 weeks later...

Hello,

I am also interested in symmetric relay.

And been studying it for a few weeks.

I would like to practise this system.

The time zone I live in is GMT+1.

Plaese contact me if you see me at BBO.

Or make a appointment on this forum.

Thanks in advance,

GerardEw

This is tangential, but have the folks interested in learning symmetric relays checked out b2sym by any chance?

It's an absolutely fabulous piece of software for learning symmetric relays and was authored by Roy Kerr himself (co-inventor of symmetric relays as I understand).

Anyway, since it's now defunct, ping me if you need a copy...

Looks interesting, it's going to take me a few days to study the system but add me to your BBO friends if you want. I'm right now in GMT-7(daylight saving time). During summer/winter break I'll be in the same time zone with you.
