You hold, all vulnerable, KJT9xxxxAJTxx Pard you1C 1H1NT ?? 1NT is 12-14 balanced, at least 3 clubs, may still have 4 spades Your options are:1. Sign-off in 2H, via a transfer2. Show a game invitational hand with 5 hearts, via a 2C relay followed by 2H3. Sign-off in 3C clubs, via a 2NT transfer4. Show a game-forcing 55, via transfer followed by 3C So, what do you bid? Pard had T8xxAQxKTxKQx And the invitation would allow you to bid this game, which in practice makes (diam ace offside, but heart king onside). The spade king was worth zero!
