At the other table the bidding went: [hv=d=w&v=0&b=8&a=pp1dp2cp2sp2np3nppp]133|100[/hv] Who do you blame?
pooltuna
East at the other table. They have a 3NT rebid over 2♣ :)
Hanoi5
I'm not quite sure, but it might have been 1♦-2NT-3NT.
nigel_k
I blame the dealer. If the AK1098 of diamonds had been in North instead of South, you would have gained 10 instead of losing 10.
Cyberyeti
We'd have bid this: 1♣-1♦2♣-2♦(relay)3♣(rubbish with 6+ clubs no other 4 card suit, <3 diamonds)-4♣(FG)5♣-P or 6♣ Partner is pretty much known to have AQxxxx(x) and no A or K of diamonds but an opening bid, his only possible side control is a diamond shortage. I really don't like 3♣ on that particular hand, so many hands that will pass will make 3N due to 2 side cards (AKJx, Jx, J10xxx, Kx for example). dake50
3N with 7 controls and C:Kx support is very timid. Isn't 3S forcing? Then 4H to ask D-control to 6C.

mtvesuvius
I don't understand. I see no blame whatsoever.
