manudude03
100% North, 4♦ is a huge underbid.
Phil
Partner makes a r/w U2N and all we can find is a 4♦ call?
Hanoi5
North all the way.
ArtK78
There isn't much more to be said. North is closer to a slam try than a competitive call. 100% North. Query: How did you make 12 tricks? Did an opponent switch to a trump?
andy_h
Both, but much much more to North as others have stated
y66
I blame North for not bidding 3N and I blame South for not raising 4D to 5D.

Fluffy
Both, but much much more to North as others have statedjust curious, what blame are you asigning to south?
JLOGIC
Guess this is what happens when you bid 2N on complete yarbs like xxx --- Jxxxx AKxxx (from another thread). 2N red/white shows a good hand, 4D is absurd. My partner chose to bid 3N but we were playing the platinum pairs (MP) rather than the imp pairs.
awm
Notice that even if we gave south a second spade instead of the sixth diamond (which is a lousy hand, not even really worth a red v. white 2NT bid) you still have very good play for a game contract. North takes the blame here.
