wank
Are there any guidelines for what tournament hosts can say in tournament chat during the event? today i played in one where the host was typing out chapters of the bible verbatim - i don't just mean the odd quotation or whatever - this was as much of it as he could get through in 40 minutes. is this some kind of cultural thing? i know americans tend to be rather keen on their religion, but this seemed like a little too much. I think the guidelines are no different from bbo`s terms and conditions (profanities and racially/politically charged statements are out) tds moonlight as poetry reciters, orators, djs. The other day one was playing Right said fred's "I'm too sexy", i kept wondering if he was dressed in thights and dancing to it. Think o it this way, these folks give up their time to be there tding for you. it is a thankless job. let them have their minutes of fame. Bbradley62
If this was the host's own game, then I'm sure many of us would like to avoid him. If this was a club's game, you should report the incident to the club; hopefully they will stop giving him a platform. PS: I don't think he was American :-)
