mtvesuvius
Another interesting hand from tonight - The first one with the final partner, still playing a strong club. You have: [hv=pc=n&s=shaj8652dcakj8532&d=n&v=b&b=13&a=pp]133|200[/hv] Your opening bid options are: 1♣ - 16+ (Relays if uncontested, otherwise similar to Meck Lite)1♥ - Natural and Limited, 5+♥2♣ - Limited, 6+♣Something else creative. What is your choice, and what do you do after LHO bids 4♠ over anything you bid. Partner will double. Now?
Mbodell
I open 1♣. I bid 4nt for 2 places to play and raise ♣ or ♥ to the 6 level and correct 5♦ to 5♥.

mr1303
Ick I guess I open 1C, hating it. Over 4S X P I guess I try 4NT. If partner bids 5D I try 5H, if 5C I raise to 6.

kayin801
1♣-4♠-X-P4NT-5♠-P-P6♣ This. I don't think I can describe this hand no matter what after I open 1♥ or 2♣, and while 1♣ isn't much better it will at least give partner room for optimism after I show a 2 suiter.
