You got the explanation that 4NT showed both minors. How do you rate your opening bid and your rebid?

 

Bonus question: Does it make a difference if opps say it could be any two suits, or if they don't know exactly?

I would double 5♣ not really interested on playing hearts, don't expect very good breaks. Sadly not an option on the poll :(

I think 5♥ is a bad bid. But it's not the sort of bad bid that noone ever makes, I wouldn't be surprised to see it.

I would double 5♣, to show extra offence and extra defence. If partner passes, it's quite likely that we'll get 500. It wouldn't surprise me to find that we can make 5♠, either. Edited February 19, 2011 by gnasher
