MrAce
System5°major diamond 4° [hv=pc=n&s=sjhakdqt874cq7532&d=e&v=n&b=2&a=1c]133|200[/hv] what is better for south bid 2nt for 5-5 minor or 1♦ or pass? Ty at all for help me because i must solve a test for bridge school :) 1♦ if u wanna bid. 2 NT over 1♣ doesnt show minors anyway. 2 NT over a major shows minors, over a minor it shows 5♥+5 other minor. I doubt u will recieve too many answers though, since u had better places in BBO forums to post this. There are experts who will love to help u with any questions there also :) Here is where you shd post -----> http://www.bridgebase.com/forums/forum/5-beginner-and-intermediate-bridge-discussion/
wank
obviously 2nt for the minors over 1♣ would be a perfectly valid agreement, but the standard meaning would be hearts and diamonds. if your school teaches you it shows the minors that's fine, but one shouldn't bid it on this hand - your suits are terrible relative to the rest of your hand. best just overcall 1 diamond
dake50
Absolutely.!!This hand screams opponents have majors - the very reason to use Unu2NT.I have 2NT Unu to opponents 1C - especially the "could be short". Get in their way when they try to open 1C and stay low to unscramble.
deep
Sorry at all I did not want lose your time . I forget Michaels on♣ is ♦♥ Then is better bid 1♦ and not pass i think. However thanks at all.Can ask you other question?
Quantumcat
Don't use Michaels if your cards are not in your suits. Your poor partner will never know when to sacrifice and when to defend. You will often go for 800 when your partner decides to sacrifice and the opponents weren't making their contract.
