pirate22
This is adressed to all players-and hard working TD's who try very hardto give us our daily injections.Subject-------Clocked or unclocked Tourneys. A Chat open or closed. B very suspicios-Suspect dare i say it Cheating. CA Either,Am i correct Experts in unclocked Tourneys slow the biddingdown,to gain an advantage of meeting slow players in the next round's.but, not in all cases.if one is reasonably quick, its also surprising.how many experts- one also gets in subsequent rounds.and the tactic same country an expert always with a novice/beginner.samecountry.then another Tactic one profile states Sayc blah blah.the other profile states precision-Then the dealer{SAYC} opens 1cl-non alert.so now one has to ask opps which system is in use?if clocked Tourneys 2/3/boardsif an opp considers a bad result coming up,be it board 2 or 3 refusing to play to a card plyd by declarer, anothertatic. {Known as time wasting they get an average board}B chat open---we shoot ourselves in the foot sometimes.with comments coming up in the chat referring to the first second hand, poeple can take advantage.agree to their own peril---suggest we all keep stum.amd chat should only be open if one has finnshed early, then it should be not available to all. There shld be less "You Tube" music it clutters up the atmosphere. C..............As a kibber was kibbing tourney 1141 i think hand 2 a friend, they n/s north opened 1n/t sayc 15-17.can see a slam coming up.E-pass-SouthStayman 2cl--west pass-N 2 hts E-pass-S-3hts--W--pass N 4n/t {slam coming upS 5cl--WEST PASS--N 6hts--pass--pass W x west holds 4/3/5/1 SHDC total points 2 a stiff Qcl-rest 9 high norths hand 4/4/1/4 total points 4 one ace the rest 0 your lead as East----??? 1n/t--P--2cl--P 2hts--P--3hts-P 4n/t--P--5cl--P 6hts--P--x --P"This life is a Test-it is only a Test,Further instructions on where to go,and what to do will be NOTIFED" i think chats shld be banned during tourney, sometimes it 6/8 boads, helps to keepa level ply field.and results shld be anylysed,to cut out cheating.one person i would monitor is west who x 6hts with ZILCH.he/she had 2/3 comuters running,or a kibber advising

shintaro
A slighty more annoying imperfection is with an Unclocked (and sometimes Clocked) Swiss pairs where you get matched twice (or More) against the same pair <_<
inquiry
Moderator Note: I have gotten two reports about the mention of "Zilch" in context of cheating. I believe Zilch was used in the context of "nothing, zero" rather than a player named zilch. That is, zilch is slag for "nil" or "zero" or "nothing" and the sentence is more or less constructed in that form.

He is never logged on at game time, so i know and never invite.

Elianna
http://translate.google.com/pirate22->english Too bad Google can't decipher this post either. I think that he has several concerns: 1) Experts who deliberately play slowly to try to avoid the other experts who play fast. 2) An expert playing with a novice, and have different systems in their profiles, so you have to ask what they play. I don't understand this one (can't you just ask that they alert, the partner doesn't see alerts), nor do I understand why the point is made that they are from the same country, nor that they have disparate self-ratings. 3) Chat to whole tournaments giving away things in specific hands. And also that it's a lot of noise (ironic, huh, given the post)? 4) Something specific about a hand that I am not interested in thinking hard enough about to translate. Honestly, Shubi was easier because at least his were shorter!
pirate22
no offence intended with the word Zilch yes it means to me zero nothingif there is a player named zilch my apologies.I also noticed someone giving an example ABC and XYZ but he also pointed thisout in case someone uses this as a handle")")talk about protocol:):)
Finch
If my opponents bid 1NT - 2C - 2H - 3H - 4NT - anything I'd be very tempted to double on the grounds they are clueless, whatever I held. The last time I had an auction like that against me they got to a cold slam and went 2 off by forgetting to draw the last trump.
