njerps
i have been hearing about bidding tutorials that are supposedly available on bbo. for instance, in the january bridge bulletin, page 30, Kathy Byrne says she only goes on bbo for "the vugraphs and bidding tutorials." i use the online version of bbo (as opposed to the downloadable windows version). can someone explain how i can access the alleged bidding tutorials? nick
Rain
Currently, you need the downloaded old version for bidding tutorial, which I take to mean some of the software available either for sale or for free.I cannot remember any bidding ones offhand, but the old version has these: FreeLearn to play bridge 1 and 2 (which you can get for yourself via ACBL too, free, as long as you have a PC)Very good articles that deal with different facets of Bridge (go to the other bridge activities section -> Bridge library)Deal of the week can be seen here too (also on Fred's own Bridge Base Inc site)Double Dummy problemsBridge master sample deals PayBridge master 2000Marty Bergen, Larry Cohen, Bridge World content, and Right through the pack This has made me nostalgic for the old double dummy problems. :(
