Vampyr
I have found that with the new software, when quoting a post any imbedded quotes get lost. How can these be made to show up in the new post?

It was so simple with the old software.
pran
Multiquote no longer works for me. Apparently the "multiquote" button is now identical in effect as the "reply" button? The only change on my computer that I imagine could possibly have anything to do with this is that I recently upgraded my Internet Explorer from version 8 to version 9? Comments anybody? Rain
Testing multiquote. I think you need to hit "reply" after hitting "multiquote". Multiquote doesn't work in fast reply (the convenient box at the bottom) That is a shame. It was so simple with the old software. Multiquote no longer works for me. Multiquote doesn't work in fast reply (the convenient box at the bottom)No that is not the problem. I used to press "multiquote" in each post from which I wanted to quote, and then finally press the "Add Reply" button below (and outside) the last message shown. The immediate effect was that each "multiquote" button changed color when pressed. Now the effect of pressing "multiquote" in a message is exactly the same as of pressing "reply" in that message. Rain
Thanks, we'll investigate. Perhaps really an IE upgrade problem? Not sure yet, see what Gerardo says.
Gerardo
IE9 seems to be the culprit, at least I get the same symptoms.

IE9 seems to be the culprit, at least I get the same symptoms. But I got around it by enabling the Compatibility View. Will watch for patches/updates, but meanwhile just do that. aguahombre
Well, even switching to compatibility view doesn't do it for me. The multiquote button does change color, and I am able to push multiquote on another post. But when I hit "reply", only the last one is quoted. Others seem to have no problem, so there must be a way.
