jdolson
Reoccurring bug in GIB bidding: after responding 1S to 1H, GIB will rebid 2S over opener's 2 of a minor with weak 6-card Spade suit instead of bidding 2H with 4-card support, i.e., a known nine card Heart fit. This has happened to me and my BBO friends several times. See an example in the attachment and in this link: http://online.bridgebase.com/myhands/fetchlin.php?id=2730665&when_played=1296328501 Jim OlsonBBO: jdolson
ahydra
I'd have bid 2H with N rather than 1S ("support with support"). Coding this into GIB would certainly help eliminate some of its interesting decisions to bypass fits / get into a mess. Of course, I'd X with East as well [after 1H-1S] and end up in 3DX-2, so make of that what you will :D [but then again, NS can make 5 hearts.] ahydra
