A2003
Suggestion to allow Kibitzers to watch the game and learn.
barmar
I think the reason why they don't allow kibitzers to "learn" this way is because the robot reward games have money on the line, and the winners may not want to help others learn to take their money. While bridge bingo is free with no prizes now, they've hinted at the possibility of money versions later on. So the good players have incentive to keep their secrets to themselves. Rain
Join the games and you can learn. :) No doubt someone will start a "bingo strat" thread sometime too. PS: I was watching someone else play irl and it can get nerve-wrecking kibbing. Is the word emasculating? Like, you can't *effect* changes! You can't do anything even if you disagree with a choice of square, or whether a contract should be passed out.
neuralsim
Yeah, I'm pretty good with them, and I don't want kibbitzers. I will give you all some advice, though. Forget everything you ever learned about robot tournaments, except that you should continue to play fast.
