  1. 1. What does 3S-4H-4NT mean?

    • Ace ask (whatever method you chose)
    • Suggesting to play in NT (whatever strength)
      0
    • 2 places to play (SI with fit or both m)
      0
    • Both minors
    • something else (please explain)

I like the simple 4NT rule over 4 level bids .. over a minor then 4NT is blackwood and if a major then 2 places to play. In this case the 2 places can only be the minors.

If you wanted to make an exception for this situation .. I guess you could as showing 2 suits after partner has shown 7 cards is weird. But i dunno .. partner with a good 6/5 or 6/6 might still want to know.

You still have a slam try available for spades .. 5H .. not perfect but over preempts you can't have everything.

Both Vulnerable, what does 4NT mean in the following auction:

3 - (4) - 4NT?

Cannot think of anything else than Ace Ask. But can be a bluff !
