Creeksider
In geo and automated fun tourneys we're randomly paired with individuals (or sometimes with robots) and required to play 2/1. When paired with a robot, I assume we can use all conventions that are built into GIB. What should we assume about the use of conventions when paired with a carbon-based partner? Your partner bids 2♣ over an opponent's 1NT open, for example: Cappelletti or natural? And what version of Blackwood should we assume? I realize many who participate in these tourneys are beginners and may not know Cappelletti from manicotti, but I'm trying to get at a different issue: what system are we being directed to use when we're told we have to use 2/1? Is it only those things that are officially part of SAYC, as changed by 2/1 conventions? Or does it include all conventions that are in common use among 2/1 players? Click the NS CC / EW CC button, at the bottom of the screen to view the Convention Card that is assumed in these individuals. Of course that does not guarantee that your random partner's 2!c is capp as mentioned there, but it should be.

Is there a way to study this CC while not playing in the tourney? Is it the same as GIB's CC?

Yes, it is the GIB 2/1 CC. It's in the Stock CCs as well.
