han Posted January 26, 2011 Report Share Posted January 26, 2011 2S. I also would like to have a better suit but 4S is still the most likely game and our hand is quite strong. I think that double will too often lead to a silly contract, passing will too often lead to missing cold games (not to mention losing partscore battles) and 2NT is way way too much. If LHO doubles I will probably not be very happy, but still there would be no guarantee that we'd be in better shape after a double or 2NT call. Hard to decide which of pass and 2NT I hate the most, for different reasons, but I didn't think that either would get any votes at all until I read the replies.
