mcphee Posted January 21, 2011 Report Share Posted January 21, 2011 I can not imagine bidding, you want to because of the shape but sadly this is just not what partner will expect a 3 level o/c to be. I suspect a player who tries 3H would then bid 4H when partner tries 3N. Bidding is flipping a coin in hope it lands on it's edge to collect the prize. I don't think opponents have great defence when they bid 5♣ without trying 3NT anyway, so partner pulling wouldn't be a disaster. Still I think I'd pass.
