Jangvik
Hi. I have found that in both last and current version BBO stays as active process after that I have shutted it down. Due to that BBO couldn't update itself to the new version. However if I shut it down in the taskmanager/processes the update could proceede. It is a bit annoying that it stills take up some place after shutdown since there allready are several other processes who take up their fair amount. Just wanted you to know. RegardsFredrik Jangvik Running on WINXP SP1 I'm also using XP SP1 and after updating to 3.8.4 on BBO I shut down BBO. Then proceeded to start BBO again, and the update window appeared and installed nicely. I'm sure occasionally programs can be active in the memory for awhile, but my guess is this has nothing to do with the BBO program....... <_<

uday
Jangvik, does it make a difference how you exit from BBO? That is, via - Back, Back, Back, confirm exitor- Alt F4 from inside BBO Do both produce a lurking BBO ? We have been aware of this for a while (it appears to be rare) but have never managed to track this down.
Jangvik
Hi Uday. Only when using quick shutdowns (using the x in the upper right or Alt F4) when exiting the proper way then the process is killed also. So it works ok when I quit at the splashscreen with the three options open, open movie, exit. Else it will stay active as a process. dodzi
I have a PC running XP professional. After closing down BBO and shutting down the PC I get a dialog 'End program = BBO Server Stub ... the program is not responding'. Have to click on End Now to shut down the PC. This happens when exiting with the close button (not every time, but often). Mark
Rain
I have the same problem, especially what dodzi described...great, so its not just me! :> Actually I've tried to exit both via the "x" and via "back", "back", "back" method; BBB method has less likelihood of not fully terminating BBO server stub, but sometimes still get the error dodzi described. I've uninstalled BBO, defraged, and reinstall BBO hoping that'll do the trick, but still the same.... Rain
