bobbythefi
Consider this hand: Me: QJX, void--AQJxxx A753 Bot: 10xxx AKxxx Kx J10 the bidding (opp bot pass throughout) 1♦ - 1♥2♦ - 3♣*4♣ 4♥5♣Now anyone might take issue with my bidding, however consider:The explanation of bot 3!C call was 4+ clubs 5+ hearts 13+ HCP! The problem that I see recurring aside from the obvious suit count issues which occur all too frequently, is that the bot algorithms do not distinguish between HCP and values considering distribution. On top of it, the distribution values are not amended either up or down contextually (ie a void in partners opening major is given the same upgrade when there is no secondary fit as when there is one.) janeball
To me 3C would be NMF and certainly the hand fits that explanation. I am not saying it helps with what to bid but it is a better description than the one you were given
barmar
NMF is after opener rebids NT. The bot should bid 2♠, then you can bid 2NT and it can raise to 3NT.
