How should opener react in general in these situations? What would you bid on the actual hand?
655321
I would bid 2♠. Having doubled 2♣, partner will assume we have heart support and will be happy to double 2♥ with Hxx. With a doubleton heart, less than partner expects, we don't really want to defend 2♥X under those circumstances. After 2♠ partner should be in a good position to pass, bid a game or correct to 3♦. With an extra heart I would pass and sit for partner's penalty double should he make one.

If we remove on Ace from the hand, then along above thoughts, do we still bid 2♠, or is pass now the bid showing a mimimum opener?Hand B:[hv=pc=n&s=sq642hj3daj864ca9&d=s&v=0&b=11&a=1d2cppdpp2h]133|200[/hv]
JLOGIC
I think it's wrong to reopen with a double with that hand to begin with (the 2nd one you gave).
