stansllee
[hv=pc=n&s=sakthkqj9dak6c763&n=sj87hat7d7cakjt54&d=n&v=0&b=1&a=1cp1hp2cp2dp2hp4np5hp5np6cp7hppp]266|200[/hv]The bidding was happened at the other table. At my table, the bidding was exactly same up to 2♥, I took its usually honour doubleton heart support, since he can bid: 2♠ to show natural 4-card suit2NT to show 3-2-2-6, 2-2-3-6 or 3-1-3-63♣ to show 3 card hearts and a good clubs3♦ to show 3 card hearts and ♦-shortage3♥ to show 3 card hearts and 2-3-2-6, clubs is so so3♠ to show 3 card hearts and ♠-shortage3NT to show solid clubs As long as my partner failure to bid 3NT over my 2♦, the 7♣ is an impossible contract to me!
Bbradley62
3♣ to show 3 card hearts and a good clubs3♦ to show 3 card hearts and ♦-shortage3♣ isn't natural?3♦ isn't a ♦ preference (rather than ♥)?
whereagles
I would probably end up in 6♣. I've once had a relay auction for a 4-3 grand like this one.
Fluffy
sorry to ask, but why would anyone want to play 7♥ on this board?
Phil
2♥ might be Hx, but it might not be. I fail to see how 2♠ can show four since he rebid 2♣ instead of 1♠. Why would 3♣ show THREE card heart support while 2♥ doesn't? And who says 7 of anything is good? I think you are trying to blame your partner for something, but I can't figure out what! Sorry, this is all very LOL.

Sorry, this is all very LOL.For your information, at my table, we end up to play in 6♣. Why should I blame my partner? He did nothing wrong. As to 2♥ usually honour doubleton heart support, cos sometime, you might hold AQ10762 looking for slam; or AK963 just interest in game, you need to know partner hearts holding: Hx (for slam hand) or xxx 3-small to play in 4♥. By the way, if we can say Hx with 2♥, and 2NT for 1-2 card heart, all three level must be 3-card hearts, this is some sort of Adjunct, something similar to Hardy Adjunct after New Minor Forcing. Cyberyeti
Probably because the contract makes, but I really have to add +2.You would never wish to be in 7♥. If the clubs behave, 7♣ and 7♥ make, 7N also makes (and can cope with a bad heart break). Can you get to 7N and would you want to ? Our auction would be 1♣(4+)-1♥-2♣-2♦(fully artificial)-3♥(almost certainly 6♣, 3♥ good hand)-4♦(RKCB♣)-4♥(0/3)-4♠(Q♣)-? Now the question is how optimistic you feel, partner clearly has ♣xxx (he only has 4 hearts and would have used an inverted raise 4-4 in the curly suits by our methods). If you decide to show the Q♣ he'll bid 7N if not he'll bid 6N.
kgr
1♣-1♥2♣-4♣ (4♣=forcing asking controls)4♦-4NT (4♦ control)5♦-5♥ (30; ♣Q ask)6♣-6NT (No ♣Q)
mfa1010
Raise clubs -> RKC -> Ask for ♣Q -> 6NT -> Next board please.
lamford
I think 1C - 1H - 2C - 4C should be RKCB in clubs, and that would be my choice with my regular partner. Now after 4D (0/3), 4H asks for the queen of clubs, and I would then sign off in 6NT at any form of scoring.
akhare
sorry to ask, but why would anyone want to play 7♥ on this board? LOL + n -- only lots of new year champagne can explain the rationale for 7♥ :)...
