jillybean
2nd seat NV vs. V MP 9, AT9, T752, AKJ72 (P) 1♣ (P) 1♥(P) ? I'm assuming you all open this :P
cherdano
2♥, even if partner is French.
Siegmund
If your style allows you to ever raise on 3-card support, that's just about the perfect hand for it.
Cascade
Normal 2♥ for me.
wank
anyone who doesn't bid 2♥ needs to move to the novice and whist forum
Fluffy
2♣ because the suit is strong, but I don't mind bidding 1NT to show my 2-3 card support. Sinlgeton spade is a minor issue when nobody bids them.
jillybean
It must be a geographical/style thing, my (pickup) partner raised blue murder when he saw my hand. 9, AT9, T752, AKJ72 KQ43, Q742, QJ8, 63 1♣:1♥2♥:3♥ -2 I think continuing to 3♥ is more aggressive. I think the only crime is complaining loudly about the 2♥ call. Nevertheless the 3♥ call is probably warranted by risk/reward

If you twisted my arm and forced me to bid, 2N is much better than 3♥, but to me it's not close, I'd pass.
Phil
3♥ is pretty bad. 2♥ is automatic for me. If I'm from a country where it seems every other consonant is silent, verbs get conjugated 20 times, the women are dynamite, and so is the wine....well I'm not playing bridge much :P but when I do I'll still raise to 2♥. inquiry
Two hearts was the 100% correct call. Three hearts was a considerable overbid. Complaining about 2 hearts was to distract from how bad 3 hearts bid was. Send you partner a link to this thread.
Fluffy
Yeah 3♥ bid is horrible, converting a great -50 into -100
