My decision would not depend on the state of the match.

If partner can not move over 3NT slam is an underdog.

Now I'd bid 3NT. Partner with slam interest can still support ♣ now on a doubleton, or we can later get a "pick a slam" 5NT from him to get to ♣.

IMO

• Open: 2♣ = 10, 1♣ = 8.
• Rebid: 3♦ = 10, 3♣ = 7.
• Now: 3N = 10, 3♠ = 6, 4♦ = 4.
• You should bid like this even when 21 imps down.

I would bid 3NT. I do have diamonds well stopped. Also, partner knows I promised at least 10 tricks in my own hand so partner is not going to drop the ball when he can contribute something in clubs or diamonds.
