Hanoi5
All White: ♠A♥Q♦AQJT♣AQJ9xxx You opened this with 2♣ (agree?), partner bids 2♠ (which shows 5+♠ with AK, KQ, AQ) you bid 3♣ and partner continues with 3♥, what about now? 2♣-2♠3♣-3♥??? Would your decision change if your trailing by 21 imps? Edited: It was Nil Vul
rhm
3NT. My decision would not depend on the state of the match. If partner can not move over 3NT slam is an underdog. Rainer Herrmann
Fluffy
3NT seems to be our last making spot, try it. I'd open 1♣ but 2♣ isnot so bad this time.
Free
I'd prefer a 1♣ opening, but opening 2♣ is definitely acceptable. Now I'd bid 3NT. Partner with slam interest can still support ♣ now on a doubleton, or we can later get a "pick a slam" 5NT from him to get to ♣.
jillybean
I open 1♣ and agree with 3N now.
mikeh
1. No surprise to anyone who knows my approach to 2♣: I'd open 1♣ 2. 3N: what else is there? 3. Being behind 21 imps is sort of normal for me, so it wouldn't affect my choices
TimG
I open 1♣ and agree with 3N now. I agree and expect near unanimity.

MrAce
I also open 1♣, and 3NT is my bid.
whereagles
3NT seems normal. Trailing 21, I would bid 6♣ if the match is coming to an end and the boards were flat so far.
kenrexford
Down 21, maybe it's time for a New England 6♦?

Also, partner knows I promised at least 10 tricks in my own hand so partner is not going to drop the ball when he can contribute something in clubs or diamonds.
