paulg
Using the web client I created and ran a tournament this evening with the following constraints: Include friends of the hostInclude players from the Host's countryInclude custom listA player who I did not know, who has never been marked as a friend of mine and was not in the custom list, registered and played in the tourney. My country is set to Scotland. She was from Great Britain. Another British player had also registered with the partnership desk. It was absolutely no problem, but I don't think that the software should have permitted this (unless there is a special Scotland/GB relationship on BBO). I did check with the player and she said that she had not changed her BBO nationality recently. Paul
Gerardo
It used to be based in the flag of both host and prospective players. Now uses IP for prospective players, and I think also for host (are you in GB?). It also mght be our IP DB thinking you are in GB, or they were in Scotland, for some reason. Please PM names and approx date, and tourney # if you remember it.
paulg
Gerardo, Thanks, that would explain it. The IP world does not differentiate between the nations in the UK and I think almost all the ISPs are based in England anyhow :) Cheers Paul
