Cyberyeti
[hv=pc=n&s=sj8haq54d3cakqt43&n=skqt6hjdaqj96c986]133|200[/hv] South deals, EW vul. 4 board round of VPd multiple teams you think you're behind and this is the last board. That meant we propelled ourselves to 6♣ to rescue some IMPs via the auction 1♣-1♦-1♥-3N-4♣-4♦(RKC)-4♥(0/3)-4♠(Q♣)-5♣(yes but nothing else, 4N would deny)-6♣. Do you want to be in this ? how would you bid if not pushing ? And how would you play it on the 5♦ lead ?
Fluffy
I would probably play it as well starting with 1♣-1♦-1♥-1♠-3♣, 1♠ being 4SF for me. Its a great contract only the diamond lead makes it difficult, after a hating gaze to LHO I'd play ♦A and a spade from dummy, they don't know how many spades I have so they have a problem here, they might even try to cash ♦K and set dummy. Zelandakh
When I bid this through (not pushing) I reached 6C but not with massive confidence and I am not at all sure I would actually make it. I would play HA and a H ruff before the spade but I concede my card play is not the best. 1C = 15+ nat/bal or 18+ any (hand is an upgrade to 18 with 8 tricks) - 1H = 4+ spades, 9+, GF1S = relay, usually 18+ - 2C = 4+ diamonds, at least 5-42D = relay - 2H = 4 spades2S = relay - 2N = 5 diamonds3C = relay - 3D = 41533H = relay - 4C = extras, 3 controls4D = relay - 4N = spade and diamond controls, no club control6C

Fluffy
then I ruff a heart in dummy and exit ♠K planing to make 2♠, 3♥, 1♦ 6♣
Cyberyeti
then I ruff a heart in dummy and exit ♠K planing to make 2♠, 3♥, 1♦ 6♣This works fine. The other line that works well in this case is Zel's. RHO has 6 hearts, A♠ and a stiff J♣, so if you play A♥ and a ♥ ruff, and when the J♠ holds, you ruff another ♥ and E discards, diamond ruff, heart ruff, and all you lose is a ♠. Siegmund
I think 6C is normal even when not pushing. My auction with my reg p would have gone 1C-1S (majors first), 2H-3C (GF since no Leb), followed by a bunch of cuebids. In Walshy 2/1, the proposed 1C-1D, 1H-FSF route looks normal. whereagles
I think this is plausible 1♣ 1♦1♥ 2♠3♣ 4♣etc...6♣ 2♠ = natural, GF (walsh style)3♣ = descriptive of the 6-4. Better than 3NT

Better than 3NT Why 2♠? 1♠ should be natural and GF, and 2♠ GF but <4♠. 1♣ - 1♦1♥ - 1♠3♣ - 4♣ looks like an obvious start and you'll get to 6♣ without a lot of difficulty.
