How much did I promise with 2♥? How much did partner promise with 3♥?

 

I guess if 2♥ can be this weak and I may pass 3♥, then I should pass now, but I've never played this system before so don't take any of this as Gospel (this is a very common mistake on the forums of course).

Are you sure 3♥ is non forcing? I could never play that sort of system tbh.

I'd probably bid 4♥ in case partner forgot 3♥ was NF. Not sure I could play something like that as well... Anyway, if I am fairly confident that partner is awake, then I'd pass... I have a pretty miserable hand.

4H - but a lot depends on partnership agreement.

 

It is quite common to play 3H as GF, but since you raised the question,

you dont play it that way.

 

Playing MP, staying out of a game with less than 50% chance of making is

not bad, but I usually bid game, and worry later in the play, this forces

me to improve my declarer play.

 

If you play Acol or Acol style, where 2H is only a one round force, and 3H

is NF, than you have to pass.

Well, as 3H is obviously NF in your style, then I have one point above min - not a lot. Plus I don't have a lot of controls and one of those minor suit queens is probably not pulling its weight. So clear pass at matchpoints. Closer decision at IMPs.
