phil_20686
[hv=pc=n&s=s854hq74dtct87532&w=s32h62dkq987ckj94&n=sakqj97hkjt9da32c&e=st6ha853dj654caq6&d=n&v=0&b=1&a=1sp2s3d4dp(Slow)4spp5dp(Forcing)p5hp5sppdppr6ddppp]399|300[/hv] This hand was just too funny not to post the whole deal, partner led the 7S which i overtook with the 8 for a club ruff after dummy played small...Sadly he didnt find the heart switch after the club ruff for -5, but still. Anyway, how should north south bid this slam, it seems like nearly ever bid is questionable by both north and south. 2S is too pushy for some. 3H might be better than 4d originally. Passing 4s seems a bit wet, and after the forcing pass by south surely north has enough to just bid 6S?
Fluffy
North can count 12 tricks on a finese at most after opps bid 5♦, if you were awake enough yo overtake ♠7 you should return ♣10. If south fails to raise things are obviously a lot more complicated, finding 6 when you could had played 1 is very weird.
