Siegmund
I did forget to mention one big improvement (which I missed the first day since people weren't using the built-in auction formatter much): Congratulations, you've finally got the auctions in W-N-E-S format! On the old forum, we were stuck with "dealer-first" auctions that caused nonstop "which person is bidding what?" puzzles.
kgr
In case it was not yet mentioned:If you include a suit symbol, eg ♣ by then the text clubs between [ ] is included, but this text is selected and deleted if you continue typingIt would be easier if text was not selected with cursor after last ]
1eyedjack
First of all, apologies if this has been mentioned already somewhere in the 7 pages of this thread, but .... Not that I intend to make use of the system for voting posts up or down, but I am just curious as to why some posts have the vote possibility embedded but others do not. Any takers? Finch
Most things that are different just need getting used to, I think. But along with a few other posters, I really HATE the amount of vertical space that everything takes up - both the individual replies, and the thread listing. I agree, but if I may expand: Is there, or could we have, a file somewhere that explains this and other features? If it exists, where? I'm not unhappy, I seldom am, but I am a bit confused, which I often am.

The operators can include a skin something like the old one for traditionalists.Scoring method in hand diagrams.Replace Word "board" with "forum" in profile choices.Avators.For those who want variants, you can edit the hand contents between hv tagsAlso, notice that if you use the hand comment facility, you use less vertical space (a worry for many). But this effort demonstrates that there are still a few layout problems. For example, list numbers overlap the diagram.[/hv]

All that stuff makes for lots of vertical empty space. I think it would be nice if the default was not to show most of those things. (But, nice to have them in the profile...which you can see when you click on a name or otherwise ask to see a profile.)

655321
I find the format of the timestamps hard to read. The 'Today' and 'Yesterday' ones are fine, but when the time is separated from the date by a forward slash the numbers seem to run into each other (2010-Sep-27/11:18). Maybe a space instead of the slash, or some other way to make them more readable. I forget how they used to be displayed.
Venom
What was wrong with the previous version? I had to change the name of my personna to a previous screen name in order to access this version. That OK, people have been telling me for years that I need a significant personna adjustment. Crawling on my belly ain't so bad. Just don't step on me. DHL

Gerardo
Quite regardless of the layout, I find the extra space between lines in the content of posts to be incredibly annoying to read. Also, I've just discovered that about half of every page the server sends consists of inline CSS. Wow, what an incredible waste of bandwidth. Everyone has a browser cache nowadays, you know. The CSS data is no longer inline. Sorry.
Cascade
Psychic controls (Includes ANY partnership agreement which, if used in conjunction with a psychic call, makes allowance for that psych.) I just quoted the above text in another post. The added text "said:" to the quote header is annoying when the quote is not something that someone has said. It would be better for more flexibility here.

Rain
You can now make up to 10 positive votes for any post each day. There are no plans to enable negative votes at the moment. My first vote (and the forum's first!) goes to the Bridge Personality one. :) More to come as we get more familiar with the new look.
