1-(p)-1-(4),

5-(p)-5 All Pass[/hv]

Lead is the 7 of spades, ducked to the T and ruffed. On the ace of diamonds, LHO plays the 7 and RHO plays the K.

This is the semi-final of a bracket 1 knockout, the opponents appear to be competent.

Assuming 7-8 cards on my right, the to be 3-1, you have 2 inescapable trump loser.

Accordingly you can not afford another loser and must try to strip LHO of his black cards before throwing him in with a trump.

Play AK and ruff a .

If RHO follows to three round of s (unlikely) cash the A before ruffing another . If s are not high, ruff another before end-playing LHO with the last trump from dummy.

IF RHO shows out on the third ruff a and another before cashing the A for a discard. If LHO refuses to ruff, throw him in with dummy's last trump.
