manudude03 Posted September 25, 2010 Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 I draw the last trump, cash the ♦A, then play off all but 1 of my trumps throwing 2 hearts and a club. Then play my last trump and hope for some double squeeze, probably around hearts. Edit: didn't see trick 3, our best squeeze attempt is to hope someone has 5+♣ and either ♥KQ or enough high diamonds to make the ♦8 a threat (only works with West). WoOt west led the diamond ten from x KQx KT QT9xxxx whereas you would have gone up on a club lead, had it ruffed, and gotten a heart return, win, lose a spade to east, heart, and queen of clubs cutting off communication and you lose a trick in each suit.
